Note: Brought to life by Padmé's funeral scene in Star Wars: Episode III.
It lies not in ambrosia
Nectar or the sweet fountains
Flowing in faraway lands
It cannot be found amongst
Exotic elixirs or
Idun's life-giving apples
It is not knowledge kept by
The serpent who eluded
Gilgamesh's lunging grasp
It is not contained within
Medea's boiling cauldron
Or the wondrous Sangreal
The secret of timeless youth
Has always been in our hands
Should we accept the demands
Ere age grinds us to dry husks
Slip the noose around the neck
Shoot a bullet through the head
Swallow alcohol and pills
Let the blood rush from slit veins
Jump in front of moving trains
We would then escape Life's toils
For Decay cannot reach us
When we walk past Death's threshold
Our smooth faces shall remain
Beautiful in memory
Young for all eternity
