Dying

Every time I do this
It starts out innocently enough
But soon it reeks of guilt
The stench of lies to follow
As the hours of the night
Stretch out beyond what’s meant to handle
Tearing the sanity
From the corners of my eyes
I’m pulled to my extremities
By my own false choice
And living suicide
Since this can no longer be called “growing”
But “dying”
