Lupine Eyes

When the night sky is dark it lies dormant within

A silent specter ever there

Whose heightened senses and strength are mine

The gifts of my eternal curse

As the silver orb waxes so I begin to wane

Vague annoyance becomes insatiable rage

I yearn for the tangy iron tasting liquid

To rip and tear with my claws and fangs

To destroy

For my obsidian fur to stand on end

My glorious tail to twitch in anger

And to see through the vermillion haze

That films my emerald green orbs

To see once more through lupine eyes
