Her gown was the color of the room- elegantly decorated enough to be simple. A soft, white veil covered her face, hiding the amber-blue eyes that heaved sighs of sadness, blotching her fair skin with pinks and reds. Her body shook, her lips trembled, and like a lamb cowering from a wolf, she was alone. She cried out, a moan of regret escaping from her throat in a sorrowful cry of anguish and fear. She shook her head, her golden crown of curly locks falling out of place from the barrette that tied them into place.
There was a knock on the door and she went silent, eyes wide and staring in anticipation at the knob that was slowly turning. A bright light entered the room and she raised a hand to shield her eyes from the pain. Slowly a figure emerged, dark and tall and moving so silently and so quickly at her.
The figure had her on her feet, hands roughly grabbing her arms and shaking bruises into them.
"What have you done? What have you done!?" His head fell down in defeat, his body slumping down in suit. "Oh God..."
A weep exploded from her like a child that had gotten lost. She clasped onto his arms as if imploring him to forgive her.
"There's no way out now," he said, his voice stumbling over every syllable. "We're trapped."
A pitiful scream erupted from the room, flying through the heavens and alerting everyone to the truth.
Heaven had been locked away.
