Siren

I will be the illusion when light
Fades away to a dim cadence
I will be the genteel maiden when the rays
First descend, disclosing my features, a
Damsel in no apparent distress
No apparent emotion
No apparent sheath of protection
Bare in the foxfire
I will be the vixen who steals your
Control, who tests your resolve
I will be the enchantress who captures your
Soul and encases it in a crystal heart
Fear not
Take my hand
I shall guide you into the depths of
This mysterious realm that belongs to me
That is me
All but an illusion
