I.

What is life
Without
Innocence?

The time of,
The realization of
And the loss.

Whatever it is
Or
What ever it could have been
I’m glad
I gave
The last of my
Innocence
To you.

II.
Ravaged, faded body
Clouded passive eyes
Stripped of the ribbon
That was once tied
So perfectly

Torn open
And stitched together
But never whole again
Hidden away
A rag doll body
Tossed about
How many eternities passed
In the darkness?
How often
Did the tentative touch
Of neglect
Bring comfort?

You remind me
Of me

Your body
Showing the wounds and scars
That I try
So desperately
To hide

A/N: Sorry it's been so long. I hope that those of you who have me on favourites or alerts haven't forgotten about the Dark Desire of Nyght. I wanted to write for the longest time, but nothing... nothing just felt right, y'know? And, for you esp. Immortal Nyght, I wanted to write after you left if only to feel connected to you again; if only to hold on. Writing poems and sending them back and forth has always helped me feel close to you.
