Rescue

Music softly called to me

From beyond the veil, the mist of dreams

The silence of my bedroom tomb

Lifts by softly ringing tones

A fluted tune and chiming bells

A magic stirs me deep within

The music frees my very soul

Released from evil, ancient spells

A shadow falls upon my bliss

The Darkness Queen, her minions call

Slipping slowly, a relentless fall

Halted by Tamino’s kiss
