The Dolphin

The solid turquoise ocean

Stretches it’s limpid fluids

As far as the eye can glance

The surface tilling with the repetitive

Motion of mathematically proportionate waves

Yet, beneath this plane is where the substantial excitement breeds

This is where the dolphin exists,

Culling through the waters

That are its home

It cuts through the water like a

Fluorescent rainbow cuts through the dreary gray sky

It’s sleek and slender body gracefully

Exuberant and vindicated

The creatures dorsal fins calculate commandingly

The preciseness of each of

It’s glorified speeds

Adjusting minimally to master the

Meticulous movements that it craves to obtain

It’s tiny, beetle-like eyes shimmer

Out from a massive body of ashy-steel velvet, smooth and

Curvy and powerful

It’s elongated nose firmly juts

Out from the front,

Which opens to reveal

A crooked, pointy grin

That shines in the tinted light of the sea
