I woke up in euphoria today.
Sweet, nostalgic euphoria.
My hands were laced around your neck-
fingers twirling your hair.
Your hands on my hips
-gentle bliss-
and whispers flows freely
to my ears.
I woke up in euphoria today
and fell asleep
in reality.
