Motion – she lost you in motion
and wanted back the stillness
she thought she had.
But no one just stands still.

Now she’s stuck -
on the hands of the clock
As well as stuck on you.
Let’s pretend she isn’t counting
- heartbeats (and heartaches)-
until the moment comes.

She thought time would stop
(eternal moment, . , .
. , . eternal standstill),
but released from the hourglass,
it’s running through her mind.

No, she hasn’t got time to ask
why she can’t move on.
She just doesn’t want to hear,
Hush now; he’s gone.”
