Match Five: War Games Match
Lantlas, Ace Anderson, Jade, & Justin 'Stormm' Michaels vs Grimm, 'Prophet' Marcus Murdoc, Non Compos Mentis, & Kaden Keene

Match Details: The team of Grimm, Marcus Murdoc, Non Compos Mentis & Kaden Keene all come out to their separate entrances, deliberately starting with newly crowned PCW Champion Grimm, who receives a very warm ovation from the crowd. Hell, take that back. They scream their heads off. Every fan in the building holds tremendous respect for Phinehas Grimm, because he gives them what they want week in and week out. The other competitors in the match also receive big cheers, as the fans simply know that this match will be something spectacular.

However nothing could have predicted the reaction the crowd gets as Lantlas's music plays, and Lantlas, Jade, Justin Michaels & Ace Anderson come out together, showing that they're all on the same wavelength. Lantlas and Jade walking side by side, followed by Stormm, with Ace Anderson bringing up the rear. Surprising is the amount of cheers his is receiving, as he used to be the most hated man in the business. Yet the last time the fans saw him, he was putting on a spectacle with Al Laiman in the Hardcore Hell Match. As the competitors all stand around the cage, they await the verdict of who will begin the match in the ring.

A War Games Match starts off with two competitors in the ring, and then every two minutes another competitor is added randomly. After all of the competitors are inside the steel cage, the first pinfall or submission declares the winning team, and more importantly to the men in this match, decides who faces Grimm, if anyone, or if Lantlas receives the HHW Title back from Non Compos Mentis.

Richard Stevens makes the verdict, and it is to be Kaden Keene starting the match for his team. After a few seconds of suspense, Richard Stevens points to Jade to get into the ring. Lantlas gives her a hug before she enters, and then she climbs into the cage. The timer starts counting down two minutes, as Jade and Kaden Keene circle each other in the ring. They get in a tie up, but as Kaden pushes Jade back, she decides to not go for that again. Instead she opts to exchange blows with Kaden, hoping to rely on her powerful legs to keep them evenly matched.

She approaches the rising star, and they begin to exchange thigh kicks. Jade begins to get the advantage in the thigh kick exchange, as she strings together a few flurries of kicks. As Kaden begins to back into the cage, he manages to catch the foot of Jade. He wags a finger in her face before delivering a dragon screw, sending her right into the solid steel! Jade cries out in pain, and most of the crowd gasps. A few idiot marks scream in delight, and obviously garner angry stares from surrounding women. Kaden doesn't let up, as he picks up Jade by her hair. He gives her an Irish whip, and as she comes back, he delivers a backbody drop, sending Jade into the cage once again! She hits the mat in a heap, just as the two minute timer runs out. Who is the next person to enter the War Games?

Much to the dismay of the fans, it's Non Compos Mentis! Two on one on Jade, things couldn't look worse, unless of course all four men were in there against her. Non Compos Mentis climbs into the cage as Lantlas almost jumps in himself, but Ace Anderson holds him back. Jade wouldn't want that. She was well aware of the dangers of the match when she decided to fight alongside him. They'll just have to wait it out, another two minutes and one of them is sure to make it into the ring.

Non Compos Mentis wastes no time helping Kaden Keene beat down on Jade, as they both begin to stomp the Genesis Champion while she is down. She crawls to the opposite side of the ring, fighting off the pain of multiple boots to her body. Kaden and Non Compos Mentis pick her up by her arms, but quick to act is Jade who delivers a kick to the gonads of Kaden Keene, and a bell clap to the ears of Non Compos Mentis! Both men stumble away, nursing their ears and groin, as Jade falls to the mat, and manages to crawl under the ropes into the second ring, trying to create as much space - and bide as much time - as possible.

However, it isn't long before Non Compos Mentis comes back and is looking to exact revenge for the ringing in his cranium. He reaches over the top rope and grabs hold on the hair of Jade, who has no choice but to stand or lose her follicles. She gets to her feet, and manages to thrust a shoulder into the abdomen of Non Compos Mentis, Jade still fighting very much on instinct. She goes for a sunset flip, but Non Compos Mentis manages to hold onto the ropes, causing Jade to simply roll over him and land flat on her back. She sits up, gets to one knee, and then stands. She barely sees Kaden Keene coming full steam across the ring. Jade somehow manages to do a back bridge which causes Kaden Keene to fly right by and clothesline Non Compos Mentis over the top rope into the other ring! As Kaden Keene holds his head in an 'Oops' moment, the buzzer sounds to signal the end of the next two minute period. Who will it be this time? Will the odds even up or swing more in the favor of Kaden and Non Compos Mentis?

It's Ace Anderson! Ace immediately slides in through the open door. He sets his target right on the chest of Kaden Keene, and charges, taking the slightly sore and off-guard man to the mat. Ace uses the ropes for support and continually stomps down on Kaden Keene. Boot after boot after boot go into Kaden's midsection as Jade crawls as far away from the action as she can, to try to regain some of her composure. Ace sees Non Compos Mentis coming through his peripheral vision, and as Non Compos Mentis swings over the top rope, Ace blocks it. A right hand from Ace sends Non Compos Mentis backwards. Non Compos Mentis stumbles, and Ace hops right over the top rope and into the other ring, leaving himself alone with one of his biggest rivals!

Ace doesn't waste any time, scooping Non Compos Mentis up with a running spinebuster as he turns around, but instead of driving Non Compos Mentis into the mat, he pushes him right to the cage wall and up over the top rope, into the steel wall! The cage rocks on its foundation with the impact, and Ace Anderson appeals to the crowd before going back to work on Non Compos Mentis. Ace grabs Non Compos Mentis by his legs and hooks in a Boston Crab! He sits right down onto the back of Non Compos Mentis, bending him like Lantlas's Elven longbow! Non Compos Mentis reaches out, the ropes right there, yet they won't do him any good in this match that is sans rope breaks. Yet as Non Compos Mentis manages to reach out and grabs the ropes, he continues to pull himself forward. He gets his arm around the rope at the elbow, taking away as much room from Ace Anderson as he can. Mentis lets go of the rope long enough to use all of his strength to push himself up. Ace steps back over the Boston crab, and now has Non Compos Mentis by both of his legs. Mentis sits up, and grabs the second rope, but Ace won't have any of it.

Ace Anderson pulls back as hard as he can, causing Non Compos Mentis to fly out and come crashing down onto the mat, right onto his back. Ace Anderson then spins Non Compos Mentis in a circle, before tossing him off to the side. Ace shakes the self-induced dizziness, but just as he does this, Kaden Keene comes flying over the top rope in a springboard! Kaden connects with a flying forearm that sends Ace stumbling backward into the cage. Just as Kaden gets to his feet, the two minutes are up once more.

Justin Michaels gets into the ring! He checks on Jade, who is sitting in the corner, and she verifies that she is ready to go. She gets to their feet, and Kaden waits in the opposite ring for his two opponents to 'come get some.' Jade and Justin climb into the ring, and Jade runs at Kaden. He goes to knock her down with a punch, but she ducks and runs by him, going off the opposite side, making sure to steer clear of Non Compos Mentis. She comes back off of the ropes and steams toward Kaden just as Justin plants and takes off, and they knock Kaden to the mat with a high low combo, Justin the high, Jade the low!

The crowd cheers at this, and they both pump up the crowd a bit more as they turn their attention back to their opponents. Ace Anderson is up, and he joins Jade to give Non Compos Mentis the boot. Justin Michaels isolates Kaden Keene in a corner in the opposite ring, and he begins to work him. Kaden won't have any of it, as he blocks a punch and throws Justin into the corner, delivering some chops, met with some satisfying WOO's from the crowd. Kaden moves Justin down the ropes, and Irish whips him. As Justin comes off the ropes, Kaden gets down prone, and Justin runs over him. Justin bounces off of the other side, and as he comes back, Kaden hurdles him, steeplechase style. Justin bounces off once again, and he meets Kaden Keene's feet in a flipping dropkick, right in the middle of the ring! With Justin grounded, Kaden runs off of the ropes, and he hits Justin with a snap legdrop.

In the other ring, Ace has Non Compos Mentis in a full nelson, and Jade is on the top rope. She dives off, and Ace moves out of the way just as Jade connects with a flying cross-body block! This brings Non Compos Mentis down, yet there is no time to celebrate as Marcus Murdoc slides into the ring! That leaves Lantlas and Grimm now.

Murdoc jumps in and he and Kaden go right on the offensive. Murdoc goes after his old arch-rival Ace Anderson, hitting him with a series of mongolian chops. Kaden hits Jade with a running dropkick, but Jade somehow gets right back up to her feet. She runs at Kaden, who takes her over in an armdrag and then applies an armbar. Murdoc has Anderson in a shoulder claw now, and he moves him over to where Jade is downed by Kaden. Murdoc applies a claw to the temples of Anderson now, which brings Ace to his knees. Murdoc moves behind Ace, and delivers a few knees to his back before pushing him down right onto Jade. He points at the ropes and says something to Kaden, who lets go of the armbar on Jade. Kaden measure the situation, and as Murdoc pushes Ace down on top of Jade, Kaden runs off of the ropes and delivers a senton right onto the back of Ace Anderson, almost crushing Jade underneath his giant frame! Prophet and Kaden share a laugh, before they turn to find Justin Michaels getting into the ring. Before either of them can do anything, however, Justin is nailed with a running knee to the head that sends him into the other ring, by the very pissed off Non Compos Mentis.

Non Compos Mentis gets on top of Justin and starts punching him in the head, not holding anything back. Justin tries to turn over, to protect his head, as he brings his arms up, covering himself up. Non Compos Mentis capitalizes by grabbing the arms of Justin Michaels, and pulling, hard. This gives Justin no choice but to get to his feet. In the opposite ring now, Kaden and Prophet are working over Jade and Ace Anderson. Jade may have broken something as a lot of Ace Anderson's weight was forced down onto her by Kaden Keene. The Prophet has Ace in some methodical submission, while Kaden is working on Jade with elbow drops to the inside leg and knee. Non Compos Mentis has Justin to his feet now, Justin's arms wrapped around his own neck. Non Compos Mentis jumps up, placing his knees into the back of Stormm, before falling down, almost breaking the back of Justin Michaels! Non Compos Mentis stands just as the buzzer goes, and he expects Lantlas to get into the ring, yet it is Grimm who slides in the door next!

Lantlas left on the outside, he paces around the cage, just waiting for the two minutes to pass so he can get into the match that was meant to inflict pain on him but is causing nothing but pain for all of his friends. Grimm gets in the ring opposite Justin Michaels and Non Compos Mentis, who is also flocking toward the action. Grimm and Prophet begin to work on Ace Anderson, Prophet with another submission locked on Ace Anderson, who is weary, and Grimm stomping down on any open body part he can find. Non Compos Mentis and Kaden Keene Irish whip Jade, and give her a HUGE double flapjack that sends her crashing to the mat. Every member of Lantlas's team is down now, and there is still one minute left in the countdown. How much more pain will be inflicted?

Ace Anderson is on his feet, being somewhat held by Marcus Murdoc, while Grimm mounts a turnbuckle. Grimm goes for the Harvest off the second turnbuckle, but Ace somehow manages to stay at his vertical base, with Grimm's arm wrapped around his neck in a guillotine. Ace powers almost right through Marcus Murdoc, and rams Grimm into the cage! Grimm loosens his vice, and Ace sets Grimm on his feet, and then Ace follows up with a T-Bone suplex on the World Champion! Thirty seconds left now.

With that last wind effort, Ace Anderson falls to the mat, completely exhausted. As Ace goes down, Stormm gets up, slowly. Grimm is down, Non Compos Mentis and Kaden Keene are still doing a number on Jade, Prophet is dazed, and Ace is on the mat in a tired heap. Justin Michaels climbs into the already full ring, and he pulls Kaden Keene away from Jade. A punch to the jaw of Kaden from Justin. Kaden responds with the same. They exchange shots, each one more intense than the last. Kaden starts to gain the upper hand. No, Justin gains the upper hand. Kaden almost knocks Justin flat on his back. Justin explodes with a European uppercut that knocks Kaden back, the only thing holding him up being the ropes. Kaden comes off of the ropes with a forearm shot to the head of Justin, who turns away but comes back with a haymaker. Non Compos Mentis begins to pick up Jade, and Marcus Murdoc picks up Ace Anderson. Ace tries to punch Murdoc in the gut, but fails as he has hardly any energy. Mongolian chop to the neck of Ace. Prophet then grabs Ace in a forehead claw, places his foot behind Ace's calf, and drives Anderson down into the mat. Sensing the urgency of the situation, as Jade gets to her feet, she jumps up and nails Non Compos Mentis with an enziguri. A few seconds pass, and Lantlas is in!

The Elven Warrior slides into the ring, fired up and ready to go, the only man in the match completely fresh. It shows. Lantlas catches the escalating Murdoc with a roundhouse kick, and then brutalizes him with a sick lariat. Grimm is making his way to his feet, holding onto the ropes for support, his back to the Elven Warrior. Lantlas grabs him in a waistlock, and tosses Grimm over with a German suplex. Justin hits Kaden with a shot that sends Kaden off of the ropes, yet as Kaden comes back, fully ready to throw some sort of punch at Justin, Lantlas flies in out of nowhere and hits Kaden with a spear! Justin Michaels moves on to the now downed Kaden Keene, sitting him up and locking in a sleeper hold.

Lantlas now turns to face Non Compos Mentis, who is barely getting to his feet. Non Compos Mentis sees Lantlas as well, and their eyes lock. The fire rages right out from the retina of both men as they charge in a blind fury at each other, and they clash in a flurry of blue hair and mold... Throat thrust from Lantlas. Axe handle by Mentis. Another throat thrust from the former World Champion. Followed by a roundhouse kick. A kick to the gut. Non Compos Mentis bends over. Lantlas picks him up, and nails him with a piledriver! Lantlas gets up and stands above Non Compos Mentis, before turning around to find another opponent.

Instead, he turns around to meet Grimm, who flies off of the top rope in a missile dropkick, as the crowd explodes! The match they are witnessing is legendary, and they all know it. Ace and Prophet are getting up now, facing each other. Jade moves over to the downed Non Compos Mentis, and she picks him up by his hair, struggling. Justin has Kaden Keene to his feet. Grimm is on top of Lantlas, choking him out blatantly.

Prophet goes to hit Ace with mongolian chops once again, but Ace scouts it perfectly. He drops down to one knee, causing Murdoc to miss, and then delivers a punch to the gut of one of the only men in PCW he has failed to defeat in singles competition. An Irish whip sends Murdoc across the ring, and Ace clotheslines him over the top, into the opposite ring, leaving them alone. Jade delivers a punch to the head of Non Compos Mentis, and another, backing him up to the ropes. Stormm hits Kaden with a European uppercut, that slightly dazes him. Stormm wraps his arm around Kaden's neck, and then drapes Kaden's arm over his own. Justin attempts to pick him up, and as Justin tries this, Kaden blocks it.

At the same time, Jade attempts and Irish whip, but Non Compos Mentis reverses it. As Jade comes back, he hits her with the DumDumDrop!! After blocking Justin's Force of Nature attempt, Kaden picks him up, and drops him down into a spiked piledriver! Limelight! Limelight! However, before Kaden can go for the pin, Non Compos Mentis is already on top of Jade. Kaden won't have any of that, so he pulls Non Compos Mentis off of Jade. Non Compos Mentis climbs to his feet, and he and Kaden lock in a staredown. Both of them desperately want that World Title shot! They both begin delivering right hands to each other, same pace, same intensity.

Away from all of the action, in the other ring, Ace Anderson manages to trap the arms of 'The Prophet' Marcus Murdoc. One headbutt. Two headbutts. Three headbutts. An Irish whip into the corner. Ace runs...HUGE splash! Ace whips Prophet across to the other side. He runs once more...ANOTHER SPLASH! Ace gets Prophet into the middle of the ring, and he locks him in the leg capture suplex position. Ace lifts Murdoc up off of the mat, and squeezes him in a deadly bearhug. After a few seconds, Ace shifts position and brings Prophet over in a powerslam! Blitzkrieg complete! He then sees that the referee is in the other ring, for some reason Kaden Keene and Non Compos Mentis are fighting, and Grimm and Lantlas are locked in a struggle on the mat. Ace calls for Richard Stevens. It takes him a few seconds to notice, but Richard Stevens climbs in the other ring through the second rope, as Ace pins Murdoc. Richard Stevens hits the mat...one...two...Non Compos Mentis and Kaden Keene both come crashing down on top of his back, breaking up the pin! Then they continue to fight. Ace gets up, sees that they are fighting again, and he climbs into the other ring.

Ace pulls Grimm off of Lantlas, and Lantlas manages to get to his feet, a little dazed. Ace gives Grimm a few shots, and then Grimm turns to face Lantlas, who rocks Grimm on his foundation, causing Grimm to turn back to Ace, who punches Grimm in the jaw. In the opposite ring, Kaden Keene now has Non Compos Mentis down to one knee. He runs off of the ropes, before delivering a shining wizard right to the face of Non Compos Mentis! Kaden looks to the other ring, and sees that all of his opponents are in there, and with stupid Non Compos Mentis out of the way, that's where he heads.

However, he doesn't get there. James Keenan had already made his way down the ramp. Keenan opens to the door, slides in, and blindsides Kaden Keene! Keenan begins to beat down on the head of Keene, not letting up, not for a second. Releasing all of his frustration is Keenan, while across the cage, Ace Anderson and Lantlas are working on Grimm, almost as though they were tagging for years. They are taking turns giving him shots in the corner, yet Grimm wasn't finished. As Ace goes for a boot in the corner, Grimm rolls along the ropes and away from him. He lunges forward, spearing Lantlas to the mat, before popping up to his feet, ready for Ace Anderson. Non Compos Mentis stumbles into the ring where everyone is, aside from Murdoc, Keenan and Keene. Michaels and Jade are just getting to their feet, and they both trip up Grimm from behind. Ace makes his way over to Grimm, and all three begin to try to take out the PCW World Champion. Ace locks on a cross armbreaker, Jade locks on a headscissors, and Stormm puts Grimm in a stepover toehold.

Lantlas gets to his feet after the spear by Grimm, to find Non Compos Mentis advancing on him. Non Compos Mentis charges and goes for a Yakuza kick, however Lantlas sidesteps and Non Compos Mentis gets his foot hung up on the top rope. Grimm is down on the mat, Richard Stevens asking him if he is going to give up. James Keenan has Kaden Keene out of the cage and down on the floor, and he is still beating on him. Kaden starts to fight back, however, as he blocks a punch and throws Keenan face first into the cage. Murdoc is just barely stirring.

Grimm refuses to give up, even though he must be in tremendous pain throughout his body. Non Compos Mentis tries to get his foot off of the rope, and Murdoc is FINALLY back to his feet. He gets into the ring, and Justin yells to Ace that he is coming. Ace lets go of his cross armbreaker on Grimm, and Justin and Jade let go of their submissions. Justin and Jade get an idea, and they decide to hook Grimm up in the ropes. They place his arms over the top rope, and then bring the second rope up over the back of them, trapping Grimm. Ace dodges a wild swing by Murdoc, and catches Murdoc with an uppercut. Grimm is fighting to get free, although he is very tired, and Stormm delivers boots to his stomach while Jade watches the rest of the ring, alert.

Ace kicks Murdoc in the gut, and then places the head of Murdoc between his legs. Ace picks Murdoc up like a powerbomb, and then hoists him higher, but instead of bombing him down, Ace lets go of Prophet, pushing all of his body into him in a huge Exemplifier! Ace drops down next to Prophet, and hardly moves.

Lantlas grabs a hold of Non Compos Mentis, and rocks him with a couple of throat thrusts. Outside of the ring, Kaden Keene connects with a chair across the head of James Keenan! James Keenan drops to one knee, but he gets back to his feet and advances on Kaden. All it takes is a forward thrust of the chair into the ribs of Keenan, and that slows his pace. He drops to one knee, holding his ribs, and Kaden once again brings the chair crashing down onto the head of Keenan.

Inside the ring, Lantlas has Non Compos Mentis's head between his legs. ELVISH TALE! Grimm manages to somehow pull his legs out, and tries to run by Justin as Lantlas drops down to make the pinfall. Justin just barely manages to grab Grimm around the waist and tackle him down as Richard Stevens drops down to make the count. Kaden Keene is climbing into the cage. He needs to break up the pinfall. 1...2...3! Kaden doesn't make it in time!

Winners: The team of Lantlas, Jade, Justin Michaels & Ace Anderson after Lantlas pins Non Compos Mentis

After the Match...
Details: At the sound of the bell, Justin and Grimm stop fighting. Non Compos Mentis is still down. Lantlas is crawling across the ring toward Ace and the rest of his teammates, exhausted. Kaden Keene has fell to his knees in the empty ring, and he crawls right out of the cage. Murdoc is still down, as is Ace Anderson. Jade grabs Lantlas under his arms, and with Justin's help, they pick him up. Ace gets to one knee, as the other three approach him. Murdoc rolls out of the ring slowly, and makes his way to the back on his own, valiantly. Grimm, who backed off after he stopped fighting Michaels, gives Lantlas a slight nod, and Lantlas returns it, as Grimm leaves the cage, grabs his PCW World Championship, and hoists it up. Kaden Keene leaves the cage and heads to the backstage area, and James Keenan, holding his ribs, follows him. The cage begins to rise now, higher and higher toward the rafters. Ace goes over to the ropes, and yells to Mark Long. Mark Long hands Ace the HHW World Championship, and Ace brings it right over to Lantlas. Non Compos Mentis is aware now, and he slides out of the ring.

Non Compos Mentis shakes his head, grabs his North American Championship, and begins to head down the ramp. Lantlas drops to his knees holding the HHW World Championship, and he looks to the sky. Ace and Justin share a handshake after a hard fought match, as do Justin and Jade. Ace rubs Jade on the top of the head, and then gives her a little hug. Lantlas gets to his feet, and he and Jade hug each other affectionately in the middle of the ring. The scene fades on those four celebrating Lantlas's last victory in PCW, for a long while at least. Maybe someday he will return, who knows? Only time will tell.
