Skipping deeply

Moaning never sounded so thick,
jump-rope
connect

-ing, breastbone to breastbone.
Stood in your shade, I
can't be alone.

The darkest corners speak loudest,
advice against meditating
should be taken.

Heart skips deeply, I play with
rhythm and a sinking feeling.
I skim the cream from
warming memories,

sip it like medication.
Sliding down my throat until
your face is taken.

I skip deeply,
on turf the colour of hair.
But that'll be covered too,
I'll think you never there.

Happy Birthday Lindsay :-D 27/9/6
