Does she know?

That sweet little girl

Listens to mainstream rock

I was just like her

Once upon a time

Right down to the hair

Right down to the skirt

What would happen if I told her?

Would she think I was crazy?

Would she laugh it off?

Because we all know

Of course

That you’re an upwardly outstanding

Member of the Rugby team

Have you drugged her drink yet?

Have you hit her?

(But never so hard, heaven forbid,

it would leave a mark?)

Have you told her

She’s just a whore?

That you could kill her

And nobody would care?

Little girl

Doesn’t know herself

Likes Harry Potter and

Town on Saturday mornings

Dark room

Crying girl

Please, don’t, please

Or was that just me?
