All The Sadness.

If all the sadness in the world
Was gathered in a poem
Do you think that you would cry
For people you don't know?

The children dying without homes
Are begging for you to know
Do you even care for them
When all they have is hope

The kids who ache for something more
Who don't care for the life they've got
Do they even realise
How much I want to help?

So much pain and so much sadness
So many blind to what they have
What can we do to understand
This world we call our home

To those who say that it's not real
Who find abuse a joke, laughing as poor children squeal
We need to try to understand
That we must change our home.

So make a change, and give a smile
She's beautiful, so tell her
She's probably been alone a while
A friend is all she needs.

It hurts so deep
When no-one cares
When you're alone
Your soul stripped bare.
