Winter Comes - Winter Cycle: Part Two

A cricket fiddles in the darkness

and the nightwind dances in the light of the moon.

A tear falls in the silence;

A crow cries out the song of autumn dying.

The tree stands tall in lonely elegance,

the sun sleeping in the fire of its branches.

A star shines and the frost glitters below.

Winter comes.
