Dwelling upon the past

Gazing back into the luminescent pool of memories

A bitter happiness

A sorrowful joy

A memory that should be unmade

A memory that shouldn’t exist

And breathes

And swims within the silver water of remembrance

Never to be buried

It will always surface

A reminder of past transgressions

Old loves

Scars

Fights

Apologies

Lessons learned are all held within the pool of reminiscence

A haunting
