10. So, we should hook up?

“Dude I could kill for a cheesy dog thing right now,” Jesse said rubbing his stomach. Addison stared at his hungry friend.

“Go home,” Addison said in an annoyed voice. Jesse stared at him and frowns.

“Well someone is being a Mister Grumpy-pants,” he said in a dull voice, raising his eyebrows at his friend. Addison rolled his eyes at him and sighed turning around to face the TV.

They were watching Saved and it was at the point where the main actress’s character was having sex with her gay boyfriend.

“I love this part,” Jesse said watching the movie more intently. Addison just looked away and blushed. Jesse noticed this and poked his friend.

“Are you blushing?” he teased.

“Shut up,” Addison said fighting off Jesse’s pokes.

“So cute, like a puppy,” Jesse cooed, attacking Addison some more with pokes.

Daniel stared at the phone for a long while before picking it up and dialing the number that he knew by heart. Tonight was the night that he was going to ask Addison out on a date, in person, together, alone, and together in person alone. Daniel wasn’t making sense to himself. He waited for it to ring three times and when someone didn’t pick up he quickly hung up and tried again.

When it rung once, he was ready to hang up again, when Addison’s voice came through the phone and attacked Daniel’s ear with the sweet melody of his beautiful tenor voice.

“H-Hey,” Daniel stuttered, gripping the phone tight in his hand, pressing it very close to his ear.

“Why did you hang up before?” the beautiful angel asked in his cute little voice.

“Nervous,” Daniel answered truthfully.

“About?” Addison asked confused about what Daniel was talking about. Daniel nearly hit his head, remember that Addison couldn’t read his mind.

“Tonight,” Daniel said smoothly, acting like he wasn’t about to lose his cool.

“What is happening tonight?” Addison asked.

“I’m going out with this super amazing guy,” Daniel said.

Addison’s heart dropped to his stomach and he felt like he couldn’t breathe.

“Oh,” he said blinking out the tears in his eyes.

“Yeah, he is just super amazing. I can talk to him for hours on end about nothing and just goodness, he is amazing,” Daniel said, bragging about his super amazing date.

Addison raised a hand to play with his hair, pulling on it to distract him from the pain in his chest.

“His name is…” Daniel paused, “Addison.”

“Oh,” Addison said sounding in pain even to himself. Then he brightened, “Oh?”

He smiled and shifted on his bed to get in a more comfortable position, “And this guy, where do you plan on taking him?”

“Well, I was planning on taking him to a movie and then this cute little restaurant then I would take him home and go home myself and wish that I would’ve kissed him,” Daniel answered in his deep beautiful voice.

“Oh, so you aren’t going to kiss him?” Addison asked, playing with a string on his hooded sweatshirt. He started to blush with even the thought of kissing Daniel.

“Only if we can stand each other for five minutes,” Daniel laughed.

“What time are you going to pick him up?” Addison asked, standing up to go look through his closet for something cute and simple to wear.

“Around 7,” Daniel answered hearing clothes being moved on the other end.

“Okay, well he’ll see you around then,” Addison said.

“Until then,” Daniel said and waited for Addison to say bye before hanging up.

Taking a deep breath he started jumping in the air with joy, making Bradley come out of this bedroom to stare at him with a distasteful look.

“I’m going on a date tonight,” Daniel bragged.

“I am too!” Bradley said brightly, “a new guy in the office asked me out today.”

“Well now, he is cute? Has he accepted that I’m your only true love? Is he a dog lover?” Daniel asked in a teasing way.

“Yes, no, and I don’t know,” Bradley laughing.

“He is no good, try again,” Daniel said laughing with Bradley.

“Okay, I’ll tell him.”

The Final Countdown by Europe played loud and strong throughout Addison’s living room. He was singing at the top of his lungs wait for his mom to take him to the movie place.

Daniel called and said that his roommate took his car because he also had a date so he had to take the bus and wondered if Addison could get a ride.

He said yes, then after begging his mom he managed to get a ride. Addison’s mother walked into the living room shaking her head at her son.

“It’s the FINAL COUNTDOWN!” Addison sang loudly as his mother flipped off the radio.

“You are strange,” she said walking away from him to leave. Addison happily followed making sure to grab his coat and wallet before leaving.

Once they got into the car Addison’s mom started to lay out the rules for the date.

“You have to be home before eleven, no matter what, no having unprotected sex or any kind of sex, no shop lifting, no mass killing sprees, and NO, I repeat, no stealing any puppies from the pet store,” she said in a stern voice.

Addison stared at his mom who started laughing insanely whenever they stopped at a stop light.

Sometimes he just doesn’t understand her humor.

Daniel could smell Addison’s vanilla body wash or spray or whatever it was from where he was standing. He took a deep breath from behind the fake tree he was hiding behind. Addison moved forwards to go look out the windows to the street again, looking for any signs of Daniel.

Daniel stepped out from behind the tree and slowly made his way behind Addison.

Addison quickly turned and stopped short of running into Daniel. Daniel watched a blush flood Addison’s pale face.

“Hi,” Daniel said in a smooth voice.

“Hi,” Addison said stepping away to put a gap between them.

“My name is Daniel,” Daniel said with a smile holding out a hand.

“Nice to finally meet you,” Addison said taking Daniel’s hand in his own, then adding on, “my name is Addison.”

Daniel laughed and stepped forwards getting closer to Addison, “it’s nice to meet you too.”

Addison just smiled.

A/N: Should this be the end? I wasn’t going to make it the end. Actually I planned on a few more chapters but I like this… I think this should be the end.

No worry! Oh my god! Do not freak out on me! There is a sequel! Called… Something. I have a title for it but I don’t remember it… Something like, “Hello, wait, sex as in S.E.X?”

Or maybe, “Calling just to say Hi”, or something. “Let’s talk about sex.”

I don’t know. You guys come up with something. Seriously though, 42 reviews for the last chapter. I’m all, “dang, that’s a lot!”
