It happens

It can’t be undone

But it can be forgiven

It’s hard though,

To forgive you,

You, who betrayed me,

It hurts

To know and to think about

How I let you in

Trusted you,

Protected you,

Gave you a home, shelter, everything

I fell in love with you

And then you just threw it a side,

Like it was nothing

It killed me

Pained me

You hurt me

I’m not sure what to do now,

Cause you’re asking for forgiveness

I’m just not sure I can or if I should

You hurt me

You betrayed me

I fell in love with you

But it didn’t matter

Because power and having whatever you wanted

Was more important than me

Well, you can have it

Cause you’re just not worth it
