float through unrequited fog
hands bound, gagged eyes
full and frightened wide
soaking in the sweetest
sights and terrified
squirm against manmade ties
wind and water strewn
out with the tide
roll back in when the moon
and the mood subsides
withered weathered torn, unbind
collapsed and convoluted
head hung, fresh face fallen
no choice, no voice at hand
to suck in suffocated sand
