EPILOGUE

(Text and narrative.)

This footage actually seems to be edited, although no living was found in the farm where when the County Police arrived. Neither and editing equipment. However, we have no reasons to disbelief its authenticity, in the fact that the individuals presented on the handycam recording were found as living-dead in the farm house. Up to now, nothing was discovered to solve this aspect.

The following piece of video was found a few days later, during the inquiries over the living-dead plague…

(Image fades in: it presents the same land road in which Zombie #1 was found by our dead friends. It is day. The back of Man #1 can be seen. The Cameraman — Man #2 walks in the same rhythm of Man #1.)

MAN #2 (off) — Turn to the camera, I’m filming…

(Man #1 turns to the camera, and we can see his face. His rather tall and wears glasses. He also has a thick beard, although he looks young.)

MAN #1 — Do you think this is a good spot to start filming?

MAN #2 — Would I film if I didn’t think so?

MAN #1 — Yeah, you’re right.

MAN #2 — Dou you think black-and-white would be better than color?

MAN #1 — Yeah, turn it on. Black and white is more scary.

(The image turns B&W.)

MAN #2 — Start presenting.

MAN #1 — You don’t need to tell me what to do!

(Man #1 takes a piece of paper from the pocket and starts reading it.)

MAN #1 — Anyway, this is a documentary about the beginning of the living-dead plague. Due to several researches, we happened to find out the epicenter of the plague in this particular farm, in the countryside of Philadelphia. At this precise moment we are about to enter the farm.

(He starts walking, and the Cameraman follows him.)

MAN #1 (pointing) — Right there are the farm gates.

(They reach the place. The gates are wide opened, anyone can enter. At the top of the hill, the house stares deviously at them.)

MAN #1 — Here we can notice that the gates are opened wide, probably due to the fact that the original owners where so surprised of what they’d found here, that they had no chance to escape from the flesh eating ghouls.

(They follow the path to the house. Weirdly, the car in which the previous four friends arrived was not parked at the path. As they get closer to the house, there can be realized that the car is parked beside the barbecue.)

MAN #1 — This is probably the car in which the ill-fated owners arrived. Can you notice how wrecked and hit it is?

MAN #2 — Look, there’s a barbecue over there!

(The two reach the barbecue, pass the stairway and get closer to the grill.)

MAN #1 — Maybe the zombies grilled some human flesh over here!

MAN #2 (sarcastically) — Yeah, you betcha.

(And he puts his head inside the grill.)

Man #1 (disgusted — YUCK!! There are remains of human flesh in here! There’s a human jaw!

MAN #2 — REALLY?? LET ME SEE IT!!

MAN #1 — No. The spectators don’t deserve to see this sort of thing.

(Suddenly, they hear a noise. The Camerman turns the camera to the gar, and we notice WALTER-THE-LIVING-DEAD getting out of the driver’s side. It is implicit that Walter parked the car beside the barbecue.)

MAN #1 (ecstatic) — Look, a ZOMBIE!!

MAN #2 (calmly) — I think we should get out of here…

MAN #1 — No way!! We’ll sell MILLIONS if we film a zombie!

(Man #1 gets out of the barbecue, and reaches Walter, who is slowly walking towards them.)

MAN #1 — Isn’t him really CUTE??

(Walter demonstrates how cute he is by biting Man #1’s throat. Blood spills violently and Man #1 spits blood.)

MAN #1 — HELP ME OUT HERE!!

MAN #2 — I’M SCARED, I’M GETTING OUT OF HERE!!

(But Man #2 is scared-stiff. Suddenly, at the corner of the screen Victor-Zombie appears, with his hair still scarily covering all of his face. He walks slowly towards Man #1 and bites him at the other side of the throat. Walter and he don’t release Man #1’s throat, who stills spills blood and screams madly.)

The Cameraman turns his camera to the house. Probably intending to pursue safety inside, but he stops as he sees Patrick slowly getting out of the house. He is followed by Christian, who is very badly wounded and is also a ZOMBIE.

Man #2 starts running and screaming madly, passing by Man #2 and his two zombies. However, when he reaches the swimming pool fence, from the woods at his left Ed Gein — The Serial Killer appears, with his bloody belly opened wide, his intestines falling from the hole and his arms stretched, trying to reach him. At his right, the rest of the zombie horde appears, stretching their arms to catch him.

Man #2 starts screaming madly and neurotically and run as quick as he can, through the path towards the gates.

However, when he reaches them, a man appears from the right corner of the screen and stops, staring the Cameraman. We recognize him as THE VOODOO PRIEST, yet he is unwounded and free from blood. He wears white clothes and has weird glimpse on his eyes.

The Voodoo Priest stretches his arm, showing The Camerman a small wooden cross made of branches.

The camera falls aside weirdly, to the left, as if Man #2 HAD DISAPPEARED IN MIDAIR. It films the ground.
