Golden Glory
As the sun makes its descent
The trees in their colors become more vibrant
So many shades and hews
Made all the more glorious by the sunset
The world is bathed in gold
The sky is painted in reds,
Pinks, purples, yellows, blues all at once
All of autumn's glory is breathtaking
And quite uncanny
It never ceases to amaze me
It always shall
Nature's way fascinates me ad infinitum
As I witness autum come into being
The sun disappears into the horizon
And the final golden flecks of light are gone
But 'til he leaves fall when winter arrives
I revel in the golden glory.
