Beauty of the Harvest Moon
Each crater clearly seen
In a violet October sky
Its large shape so round
So close almost to touch
Pristine in beauty, mystic in it's glow
It carries a charm and magic of its own
I've never seen her so close
Gliding over the fields and pumpkin patches
Soon as old Sol sets, his blazing colors leave the sky
Stars sparkle in the horizon
Night weaves its spell
And the beauty can't be overlooked
The harvest moon shines on
Overlooking all, reminding us
Enchantment lives and exists
Only if we allow it to.
