When I die, don't spend days mourning.

Don't shut down or get lost in cries.

Remember the look in my eyes

as snow fell on Sunday mornings.

-

When I die, don't hate gray skies,

the rain, the cold, or the dark nights.

Spend hours basking in moonlight

and listening to the owls nearby.

-

When I die, do not shed one tear

while watching Autumn's turning leaves,

but stand on cliffs and watch the seas

Rememb'ring those times I was near.
