Happiness whistles
When it fills with steam
And brings in the galloping heat waves of summer
That make crickets buzz with pleasure
And can wear through fabric
Leaving holes on your knees
Stretched thin
We can sit or lie or run
Not speaking and not need to
And watching night break into day
And not seeing straight
And falling down warm tunnels
And not seeing at all
