Little boy, don’t cry

There’s more to life than you think

Little boy, I wouldn’t lie

There’s more to life than you think

Think of the brighter days ahead

And the beautiful days that have passed

Don’t think of how your heart bled

The bad days will go by fast

Please don’t cry yourself to sleep at night

Or hold the kitchen knife that way

Don’t forget about me, don’t forget what is right

Little boy, I promise it’ll be okay

Before I go to bed at night I say a little prayer

I ask God please to help you in any way he may

Because for anyone to suffer like you is just too unfair

At night before I go to bed I always pray

Please help the little boy, I say

Make his days a little brighter

For his days have been so gray

He’s not so helpless, he’s a fighter

Little boy, there’s so much to life

The smile of a child, the caress of a teen

As an adult having a kid, having a wife

Little boy, little boy, what does life mean

It means you have just one beautiful chance

To live, to breathe, to learn, to love, to see

You lose, you win, you regress, you advance

Open up your eyes and look how much life can be

Little boy, little boy, please put the asprin down

Little boy, your gonna get a stomach pump

Little boy, your gonna drown

Little boy, please don’t jump

What about your friends

Don’t you think they’d miss you

Would you drive them to their ends

With nothing to do

Suicide doesn’t hurt the one you hate

She won’t care, it’s the ones who do

Who feel the pain in this unlucky fate

They’re the ones who’d miss you

They’d cry themselves to sleep at night

Wishing you were still alive

And hoping that your all right

Looking at your empty chair, waiting for you to arrive

Waiting for the little boy who always wore a smile

The funny kid who made them laugh not so long ago

Little boy, the little boy who made it all worthwhile

The one who used to play with them in the snow

Hoping for their old soccer star

The one who was good at math

Who smiled at you, no matter who you are

The boy who took the wrong path

They miss that little boy

The one who took a chance

Who’s company was a joy

The one with the broken romance

The boy they all adored

The boy they all cared for

The boy who got ignored

The boy found dead on the floor

Little boy they miss you

Looking at your empty chair

Little boy I miss you too

Are you listening? Are you there?

Because little boy you’re my friend

Who I greatly cherish

And never will it end

Even if you perish

There’s more to life

I promise it’s true

Drop the knife

Please, I need you
