The thing I must first make is a heartfelt apology. Yes, it's me. I have not died. I have not abandoned you. Yet. Just kidding. The summer was... difficult as a majority of it was spent outside trying to keep my life intact, juggling show choir, marching band(color guard) and my social life. There was also the matter of my lack of access to the internet, and consequestly, Fiction Press. Please accept my stupidness. I'll try not to let it happen ever, ever again. TRENCH, i assure you, is coming along, and I have some nice, long, detailed, scrumptiously (magically) delicious chapters prepared for you. Please allow me time to do this as it will take some time in doing. So without further ado, I bring you my newest work... The Writer's Dream. Enjoy.

The Writer’s Dream

I dream,

And I write what I dream.

The characters are vague,

But I make them who they are.

I create them,

But then, they add to themselves.

Soon,

They begin to form themselves.

I can’t control them anymore,

And they become someone who I know…

Yet I don’t.

I feel as though I have created a monster that I can’t control.

When I write their words,

They aren’t my words anymore…

Their word are their own.

And so I have created,

A writer’s own dream.
