A.N: Just another poem written for class. It was based off of some famous Greek lady who happened to write poems I like. I don't know, I can't remember. I posted this only because it was one of my newer poems that did NOT have formatting trouble. Jeez, that is just so annoying. Anywho, enjoy!
Start...
Golden Sails:
My mother stands
atop her balcony;
Golden tresses blowing
in the flower-filled air.
Her beauteous face
Shines;
lax in the stars'
Light glow.
She told me once,
of Father;
with his Broad chest and
Loving gaze.
He loved with such passion
not even death could stop it.
My Mother stands atop
her lonely balcony.
Watching for his
golden sails.
And time yet stops.
End...
A.N: As per usual, I'd love to hear your thoughts on this. Review if you feel like it.
