Fading Letters
-
I've wandered the shoreline of time,
contemplating dreams like waves.
Waiting for a moment
Waiting for you.
-
Away, so far away it seems.
The nostalgic breeze flutters by
with flower petals from last spring.
Can you still remember that day?
-
Scripted words on silk,
heartfelt wishes in blue ink.
Hand to hand,
in the vanishing sunset...
-
Gone, drowning wishes in memory.
The sand beneath my feet is cold,
soaked with tears from this fall,
Washed clean in the forlorn dark.
-
Feelings expressed in fading words,
a tiny fragment of soul (no regrets).
A simple confession,
left behind like broken seashells.
