Artemis

She sprung forth from the leaves,

Hair askew.

Leaping over brambles,

As horses do.

She fights harshly, with passion

And knows what's best

Goddess of the Wild,

Nature is for her to protect.

She is proud and female,

This Goddess of the Hunt,

But she cares for animals

With an almost maternal front.

One other thing,

Does she lord over:

Night is her time,

And the Moon, her soldier.
