“Epilogue”-

The crown was placed on her head. The crowd cheered for their new queen. The crown was gold and glittered with jewels; her gown was made of a pure silver fabric that shimmered with her every movement.

Many of Byron’s men had surrendered peacefully, but both Byron and Gunter had died trying to escape. All that was behind them now, today Caston was welcoming their first queen and the six ‘Guardians’.

The Guardians would serve as protectors and helpers to the royal family. Those named Guardians were from the powerful family of ‘Norman’ except for one who was a ‘Banjwa’. The Guardians would never be as powerful as the royal family, who had the blood of the Banjwa’s, Carcierre’s and the Norman’s combined. The first six Guardians were Damon, Leandra, Alexander, Tyson, Cyril, and Pierre.

Sharlotte’s rule lasted until her death at age, eighty-eight. She made many changes to Caston, improving it for future generations. She even built her castle on the few miles of grassland below the fortress. She married Damon two years after her coronation; they would be the only Guardian and royal family member to ever marry. They had four children: Abigail, Guinevere, Lucas, and Tyson.
