I remember the day you met her
I knew she was trouble with a capital T
She became your new bestfriend
I guess the old one,me was to crusty
especially compared to the newer model
she laughed at all your jokes
you walked with her to the bus stop and not me
oneday after barely saying anything to me you muttered "Hello"
I knew it meant the day I had waited for was here
she was gone and you were back
at first I planned to hug you
as the cold lonely days grew
I realized friends don't abandon friends
not for newer models
but you did
we were friends weren't we?
it doesn't matter the answer to the question
our friendship is over
friends don't abandon friends
not for newer models
