The Real World

What if the world were more perfect?

What if there was no death?

no sickness?

no sadness or murder?

Would a world like this be better?

-

What would happen in such a world?

Would there be any rain?

any clouds?

any thunder or lightening?

Where can one find such a world?

-

There is such a world if you look deep inside.

A world where there’s peace,

where there’s life,

where there’s joy with no suffering.

This world is in your imagination.

-

Your mind can take you wherever you want.

It can take you to Paris,

to Venice,

to Sydney or China.

But there is one thing wrong with imagination.

-

There are no real people.

Only fake family and friends,

fake pet dogs,

fake laughter and joy.

The real world is better, no matter the cost.

-

Yes the real world is brutal.

But with reality comes love,

comes comfort,

comes real feelings and truth.

No matter how much the truth may hurt.

-

Would you choose the real world?

With its pain and its joys?

its loss and its gain?

its hate and its love?

I know I would, but would you?
