i write confessions,

and decorate them with fiction.

i scribble down words,

with portrayed conviction.

meanwhile armored,

by my calculated diction.

so at times messages get lost,

in straying depiction.

i ignore the described,

to focus on the description.

until word choice and rhyme,

become an addiction.

making it hard to write

confessions free of fiction.
