Hope you guys enjoy this, the next chapter should be coming out in a few days, I’m half way done with it. And please send me your reviews so I know how I’m doing with this. If I don’t get any reviews by chapter three I’ll likely end up taking it offline. Well hope you enjoy.
The world had gone black, leaving with it no trace of light, and an eerie silence, which made me feel as if I was trapped, I couldn’t move nor did I want to. I just sat motionless in the darkness. No sounds arose from it which scared me. Where was I, and what was going on?
I took a deep breath, and looked around me trying to see where I was. It was so odd, I had always been good at seeing in the dark but now… why was it I couldn’t see? Slowly it clicked, it was only a dream, or so I hoped. And with that realization, things began to focus, but I could see just myself. I was kneeling arms outstretched onto my legs, wearing a beautiful kimono. It reminded me of the ocean, seeing as it was the color of it and it had waves stitched into it. I looked down at my waistband, obi, and saw it was white with a silver symbol stitched repeatedly into it. It was familiar, yet I had never seen it before in my life. But somehow an image of a wolf filled my mind. As the image appeared I realized I could see now. I was sitting on a river bank. The sounds of the flowing water filled my ears, as I looked across; it was so beautiful on the other side.
Not a cloud hung in the sky, and the grass was the brightest green I have ever seen. Flowers filled the ground too, in blues, purples, reds, and other colors. There was also a guy on the other side of the river. He was so gorgeous I couldn’t help but stare at him. He was beautifully tan, with bright crimson eyes. His hair blew about in the slight breeze; it was a charcoal black, and was cut in a boyish fashion.
He stared at me too, his eyes meeting mine. There was something about him; I couldn’t place it, but something. As I starred a song began to play as if born from the wind. The words where in a foreign tong to me, but it felt as if I should know what they where saying. The boy, I had been watching looked past me suddenly with a startled look.
Slowly I looked too, I was wrong to do so. On my side of the bank, dark rain clouds hung in the sky. The grass was all dead and brown, everything seamed dead. What could this all mean? I puzzled over this as I saw movement coming from the hill not to far in the distanced. I watched patiently awaiting what was coming, all the while fighting a feeling of pure fear.
People appeared from the hill, walking briskly towards me shouting something. I got up slowly and watched them come, while lightning streaked all about the sky. Some of the people, armed with weapons, pointed at me, and they all shouted in unison. Quickly I ran for my life without thinking twice about it. Down river I went, fleeing the mob of people.
A lake, which had been so distant before, came closer and closer with every step, but it didn’t bother me just as long as I got away from those people. After several moments though, I reached the lake, and stopped to catch my breath. Slowly, I turned around to see that the mob was not far behind me. I had nowhere left to run now, but into the water, it was all that was in front of me as far as I could see. And if I ran back the way I had come, I would risk getting caught. So, without thinking, I forged my way into the water. Though, instead of sinking into the water, I was on top of it. I ran for a bit till I knew I was a good distance from the shore. I stopped abruptly, and turned around to get a good look at the mob. They were all at the lake’s edge, watching me. I could tell they were angry, eyeing me, up trying to think of what to do next. I watched as a few of the men with guns set up to shoot at me.
In the instant they took aim, a wall of water and fire shot up from the lake, and surrounded me. I felt arms encircle me, and stole a look; it was the boy from the other bank.
“It’s ok,” he whispered to me, “They can’t hurt you, you’re in my world now.”
I looked back at the men who suddenly shot. The bullets came at me in slow motion, but as soon as they reached the wall they stopped dead, and flew back the way they had come, landing at the mobs feet. I let out a breath I didn’t even realize I had been holding, quickly the boy spun me around, and looked me in the eyes.
“When I change climb on I’ll get you to safety. They won’t harm you,” he told me softly.
I nodded not able to say anything, I just watched his human form change to that of a dragons. I was speechless, he was so gorgeous in human form, but as a dragon he was absolutely stunning. He was coal black in color, while the tip of his tail was a bright red. All I could do at that moment was climb on his magnificent back, and hold on as he lifted into the air. We hovered for just a moment, before he took off towards the side of the bank where he had come from. But in the blink of an eye, my bedroom window was the only thing I saw.
Quickly I turned over and looked at the clock on my night stand fifteen minutes till 8 it read. Well, no use trying to fall back to sleep, I thought as I hopped out of bed, the dream staying with me. I could remember every detail, of my dream, except for the boy which I found odd. I never remembered dreams like this before its usually bits, and pieces. I tried once more to recall the boys face, but I got nothing.
“Oh well, its not important anyway,” I voiced aloud.
So, with that I pushed the dream aside, and began to do what I did every morning.
