YO! I felt like posting something...even though it's old. I'm quite proud of this poem actually. Anyway, all my new stuff is on my other computer which is packed up at the moment! I shall try to post something as soon as I can! This is my grandmas computer, which in fact used to be my old one. So, all my old files are on here. But, this poem was fun to write and I really like it. As some of you might be able to tell, this totally shows how much I am influenced by the manga Descendants of Darkness (aka Yami No Matsuei) and Poppy Z. Brites books. It's really funny how much those two things really influenced me when I was 14/15...I mean, they still influence me, but my own style is starting to really emerge and I've read some many more things now, even though Janauary 2005 wasn't really that long ago. So, excuse my long paragraph of narcissistic ramblings. XD ENJOY!!!

Sorrow
Sorrow is wailing saxophones
telling stories of heartbreak,
It is pearls scattering with magnolia
petals in the unforgiving wind,
It is a pounding river of
unshed tears buried deep within,
It is pale flailing arms in
a sea of bloody roses.
Sorrow is dashed dreams
of un-kissed kisses,
It is fierce blue eyes intimately
bearing sad news,
It is the most melancholy violin
wailing its heartbreak over Italy,
It is twinkling onyx stones laying
amidst violet wisteria flowers.
Sorrow is knives plunging into deceitful
mirrors showing us our true natures,
It is keening wails coming
From my music box heart,
It is your body twisted and
caught in twirling black ribbons,
It is spinning swords piercing through
books bearing the sweet fruits of knowledge.
Sorrow hangs from sweet
gossamer spun sugar webs,
It is amethysts drowning amongst
cherry blossoms under the bloody moon,
It is lost souls telling their darkest
desires in dingy nightclubs,
It is scalding tears pouring from
the crack of my broken heart.
