small explanation: (I made this up for this story 'k?) When demon pups are born, they're born in their humanoid form (resembles a human only with fangs, claws, and pointed ears), but a few minutes after the birth, the pup transforms into its true form (the enlarged animal form) for two minutes then changes back to the humanoid form. If you watch Inuyasha you know what I'm talking about the humanoid and true form. Oh and the transformation only takes a few seconds.
Full Summary: Saburo meaning 'third son', along with his two older brothers Ken'Ichi meaning 'strong first son' and Yoshiro meaning 'good or free son', is the son of the great Fox demon, Lord Akira of the Northern Lands. When Saburo was born, his Mother, Lady Kumiko, and Father, Lord Akira, were overjoyed to have another possible heir to the thrown, until they noticed something different about him...
Haruko, meaning 'sunny child' or 'spring child', is a miko in training under the village's head miko, Lady Michiko, meaning 'beautiful, wise child'. When Haruko was born, her mother died during the final stages of the birth and soon after, her Father went into the woods to mourn but before he could return he was killed by a demon. Now Haruko stays with Lady Michiko and her son Akahiko, meaning is unknown, who is one year older than her. But one day, when she is ten, something happens that changes her life forever...

Lord Akira was pacing outside of his wife's birthingroom, awaiting their third child's arrival. Lady Kumiko was minutes from birth and this wore on Akira's nerves.
"Father, what is the matter?" asked his oldest son, Ken'Ichi.
"Daddy are we gonna have a new brother?" added his second oldest son, Yoshiro, holding Ken'Ichi's hand. They were three human years apart, Ken'Ichi being ten, and Yoshiro being seven; meaning of course Yoshiro is seven years older than their new sibling and Ken'Ichi is ten years older.
"I do hope it is a boy, yes, but we do not know if-" Akira was interupted by a loud crying, coming from the birthingroom. Soon after it settled down and one of the maids come out and smiled.
"It's a boy Sire," she informed as she bowed. "Lady Kumiko wishes to see you Sire," she added.
"You may go to your quarters for the night," Akira said as he rushed into the birthingroom, "My love how is our new son?"
Kumiko smiled, "He is a fine one my Lord," she answered looking at Akira as he walked over to the sleeping mat. "It is only a few more minutes before he changes to his true form," Kumiko added as she turned back to look at her newborn son.
Soon the said pup started to glow a dark purple color, symbolizing the beginning of it's transformation.
Akira lifted an eyebrow and said, "Strange, usually when foxes transform their glow is red, hhmm," he said, but then filled with anticipation for his third son to have his firt transformation.
The pup was engulfed in the glow, then it started to subside, revealing his true form. Kumiko and Akira's eyes widened at what they saw...
