replace the silence

if you could, would you take back the silence
and replace each moment with words of meaning,
letting me know that you never meant to do this?

but if that were the case then i wouldn't be here,
bleeding still after it's been so long since you left
me (to bleed, vomit, and cry) in a (pathetic) state.
did you think i'd forget everything you never said?
do you know that i know that this hurts you but
i'm only waiting for you? – you musn't wait for me
any longer because i've played my part and i'm
only waiting for you (to play yours and speak).

if it helps any, i don't hate you like you think i do.
