Don't get overwhelmed by this section. It's really for reference if you want to know what certain characters look like, or why they act the way they do. It's not really all that important- just helps me keep track of the characters for future reference. Each character is based on someone I know.

Important Characters

Seren Mason
short spikey black hair & brown eyes. 5'7", 130lbs. 17 & a junior.
unemployed.

generally friendly & happy, though can be mistaken as rude. gets angry fairly easy but anger fades quickly. is an athiest & hardcore liberal. enjoys playing guitar, writing, shakespeare, women. doesn't think before she speaks. she's extremely loud, and likes women, poetry, and music. she hates men, rap, and country. she fears spiders. her goals are to graduate, become a writer, and to survive. she wants to be a writer in a log cabin.

Kyle Milton
curly brown hair & impossibly blue eyes. 5'5", 115lbs. 16 & a junior.
taco bell.

not easily angered, however has a bad temper. used to be a firm christian, though now isn't so sure, and is a liberal. he enjoys soccer, videogames, & reading. eats a lot of junk food and obsesses over everything. likes boys, soccer, and food. dislikes football and dogs. he fears talking to someone he likes. his goals are to get a better job, finally talk to jake, and become a scientist. he wants to be happy, nothing less.

Rane Lincoln
wavy blonde hair & green eyes. 5'9", 125lbs. 18 & a senior.
unemployed.

easily angered, hard to calm down. she is catholic and republican, though now she's not so sure- she believes in god, sort of, but is inching towards liberal. she enjoys cheerleading and going to the beach. she changes her mind a lot. she likes whatever she feels she should, though she has a desire for something more. she wants to be normal, and wants to be free. she's afraid of seren, about getting her heart broken, and what might happen in people found out. she wants to graduate and get a career, but doesn't know what she actually wants to do. dreams of being someone else...anyone else.

Jake Barons
short brown hair & brown eyes. 6'0", 160lbs. 18 & a senior.
blockbuster.

easygoing buddhist, though he is republican. it doesn't make sense why, from his personality you'd assume he's liberal. he enjoys sports such as swimming, track and soccer. he taps on everything and smiles for no reason. he likes sports and dislikes anything girly. terrified of jellyfish. has no real goals and prefers to go with the flow, though he'd like to learn to play the drums. he has no real ambition.

Lauren Sheaffer
medium length red hair & blue eyes. 5'4", 135lbs. 16 & a sophomore.

not easily angered but her anger stews into an outburst. a wiccan liberal. she enjoys reading, heavy metal, and writing. wears black a lot, and is pretty shy at first. has lots of habits and quirks such as rocking back and forth, mild schitzophrenia, and talking with accents. she likes loud things especially music, and loves chocolate. she hates her job and her parents. she fears getting stuck where she is and wants to get a better job and move away. main hopes and dreams are to get away from her parents and find someone to love...she's a romantic at heart, just doesn't like to admit it. she's slow to trust and has walls around her heart.

Tobin Christopher (goes by Christopher)
longish black hair & green eyes. 5'6", 140 lbs. 16 & a junior.
unemployed.

doesn't get angry...very calm. baptist with no political preference. he enjoys reading, alternative rock, skateboarding, guitar, and singing. he bites his nails. he likes skateboarding, music, and guitar. he dislikes school and social intereactions. he fears people not liking him. his goal in life is to be happy, and he dreams of being a rockstar.

Desmond "Dezzy" Smith
short blonde hair and gray eyes. 5'7", 170 lbs. 18 and a senior.

angry in nature. no real preferences is religion or politics. enjoys sports, video games, not really much else. he has a habit of trash talking people. he's not very nice at all, actually. he likes cars, any sport (real sports, anyway), and video games where you blow people up or steal things. he dislikes school because he feels like he should be working with his hands. he says he doesn't fear anything, but he has a lot to fear...like himself. he has no real goals, but he dreams of being a pro football player, or any other sport he plays.

Marian Davis
shaggy dark brown hair & dark brown eyes, also has facial hair. 6'1", 170 lbs. 22 & a junior in college.
manager of red lobster.

quick to anger, quick to calm. athiest democrat. enjoys writing, teaching, reading, and film-making. he hums a lot and likes to say "this would be a good camera angle", and notices bits of conversation good for dialogue. likes film and dislikes bad movies. fears making a bad movie. goals are to get a steady boyfriend, become a teacher, and make a real movie. he dreams of being a famous director/screenwriter. he's writing his own screenplay.

Lacey Mason (Seren's mother)
medium length brown hair & hazel eyes. 5'9", 110 lbs. 35.
cashier at walmart.

slow to anger, slow to calm. christian in some way, and a democrat. enjoys puzzles and online games, reading, sewing. she's quiet around most people but not seren. she tells seren everything, and is very loving towards her daughter. wants another child because seren is growing up too soon. likes pop music and dislikes messes. cleans seren's room because she refuses to. goals are for seren to be happy in life, and to find seren the right girl. she dreams of adopting or having another child. she has a serious boyfriend, and is previously divorced.

Michael Dalton (Lacey's boyfriend)
short red hair & green eyes. 5'6", 140 lbs. 32.

quick to anger, quick to calm. christian and not political. works with computers and is sort of a geek. he's very intelligent and a nice guy. he's planning to propose to lacey, as they've been dating for 5 years.

Rosie Lincoln (Rane's mother)
long blond hair & blue eyes. 5'7", 120 lbs. 45 but looks a lot younger than she is.
unemployed, housewife.

pretty calm, rarely mad. huge catholic, and a republican. not really much to her personality. life revolves around social functions and her friends. she is ashamed of her daughter who ran away, and is determined for rane to make up for that mistake. other daughter is in boarding school and her son is very rich. volunteers at the church.

Perry Lincoln (Rane's father)
short black hair, brown eyes, & a goatee. 6'2", 165 lbs. 52.
dentist.

gets angry but never shows it. athiest but never says anything to his wife, and a liberal. he's quiet and enjoys his life. he is highly intelligent. makes tons of money. still talks to his daughter and is very close to her, less close to rane (he thinks she's like her mother) and his son. his younger daughter isn't really his.

Rachel Lincoln (Rane's older sister)
black hair & brown eyes. 5'7", 132 lbs. 23 & college graduate.
journalist for NY times.

gets very angry and takes forever to calm down. wiccan and a liberal. quiet at first but ends up being really loud. pretty smart. close to her father, but not the rest of her family. hates the way her mother acts and is glad she got out while she could. was close to rane when they were young, but not anymore.

Rook Nelson (Rachel's boyfriend)
red hair and hazel eyes. 5'6", 135 lbs. 29 & college graduate.
pizza delivery, artist.

quick to anger and easy to calm down. athiest and liberal. very outgoing and knows everyone. incredibly smart. not all that close to his family. in love with rachel and his cat is like his son. is an artist.

Samantha Lincoln (Rane's younger sister)
brown hair & blue eyes. 5'4", 100 lbs. 13 & in 7th grade.

doesn't get angry. christian and doesn't think about politics. really loud and hyper and carefree. goes to boarding school.

Mark Lincoln (Rane's older brother)
black hair & green eyes. 6'0", 140 lbs. 27 & college graduate.
