high to low
good days and bad days
and days that just are.
and some days begin
with chocolate
and laughter
and acknowledgement
and butterflies
in your stomach
and singing
and smiles
and a job well done
and praise
and the prospect
of tomorrow.
and some days end
cold and alone
outside, injured
useless, unable
too terrified
and a little unstable
wishing your honesty
was a little less harsh
and wondering
what it all says
about the person you are.
