No Greater Love 31/10/2006

I love you, as I love the rose,

Standing brilliant and strong-

Warm petals that gently expose,

My growing devotion in song.

I love you, as I love the morning dew,

Crystal pearls created in moonlight-

Purifying the world anew,

With enchanting delight.

I love you, as I love the tender breath,

That resounds with life-

Piercing the cold silence,

With delicate silver fifes.

I love you, as I love the luminous sky,

Dotted with sparkling stars-

Forever guiding me up high,

To a harmonious love that’s ours.

I love you, as I love freedom,

Gliding on phoenix's wings-

With uncertainty so seldom,

We escape to a world of dreams.

No gem surpasses your eyes,

Or enriches my heart-

Like the love that arises,

Even when we are apart.
