Endless nights draw on by

Uncounted tears follow not too far behind.

The starlit heavens shine down on me

But I can't feel its grace,

Not here in this god forsaken place.

Ripples in time rise and fall

It's all too common now, I can see it all.

From past to present slice through my mind

Unyielding pain comes from every sign.

Grabbing and tearing all it can reach,

Digging deep inside of me.

But thought all this agony I can see your face

It guides me onto the next day.

And even if I mean nothing to you

In my mind you always will.

This always happens, we know too well

No matter how much I try, these feelings always dwell

Resurfacing at times you're so far away.

Rage and sorrow swirl around

Till I can't take it, why did these feelings have to be found?

I think of you night and day,

It's always been this way no matter what I do or say.

But here I am, fallen to the ground

Dreaming of you saving me from this living hell

But I know that will never happen

As long as I am who I am,

A worthless, annoying, gay man.
