Epilogue

Four Months Later

---

"...well, I shall name him Minkuku," Kiano announced proudly as they took a light stroll through the park, their hands clasped together.

Jasmine turned a horrified look on Kiano, "Minkuku? Isn't that your monkey?"

"Yes and Minkuku is brave, intelligent and strong-minded," he replied in prideful, matter of fact tones which only twisted Jasmine's emotions from horrified to annoyed.

"You are not going to name our baby after a monkey," she replied. "Besides, how are you so sure it's a boy? For all I believe, it's a girl and I'm gonna name her Cher." Her smile was complacent.

It was Kiano's turn to look horrified. He paused in their walk and grabbed Jasmine's shoulders gently. "I have seen the image of this woman Cher. I would not wish my child such a fate as this woman's!"

Jasmine almost felt insulted. How dare he say something so mean about her favourite singer! Didn't he know talent when he saw it?! Cher was the best! Who wouldn't want their daughter to turn out as musically talented as she did?!Well, who cared anyway. Once her baby girl was born (and she most definitely and whole heartedly believed it would be a girl) she would be the one authorizing her birth paper and she would make sure that the name would read Cher Victoria Adams (as that was Kiano's title for his real name, as past birth records claimed, was Kevin Adams).

"Your child?" she finally caught on to the little detail she'd missed. "She's mines too! Who's the one who's gonna be lugging her around for nine months?!"

Kiano opened his mouth, closed it then decided to voice his thought, "Well, yes, he belongs to the both of us. However, he resided in me first for twenty-seven years..."

This sentence had Jasmine's ears turn pink and her cheeks turn red and hot. Her blue eyes shined and the rosebud she had for a mouth pursed. She was absolutely beautiful to Kiano. He knew the tirade she was about to release on him but he was riveted by how cute (a word adapted from Jasmine herself) she looked. Their argument was brought to naught in his mind. He gave up.

She had opened her mouth, her hands akimbo, ready to give him a verbal taste of her tongue when he opted for a different method of tasting. He tugged her forward and placed a light kiss on her lips, halting the words on the tip of her tongue. She succumbed immediately, leaning forward with a pleasant 'hmm' when their kiss deepened. Her rounded belly was pressed between them but both didn't seem to mind.

When they pulled apart, Jasmine noticed, from a peripheral viewpoint, two female joggers ogling Kiano and casting jealous looks her way. With an overly smug smile, she positioned her left hand on Kiano's shoulder where her wedding ring gleamed and winked from the sunlight. She practically saw their faces turn green as they stomped--instead of jogged--away.

Ha ha. Don't you wish your husband was hot like mines!

-x-x-x-x-

Yes, so it's over, over, oveeeer. Kiano and Jasmine foreveeeer. Lol.

NOTE: I didn't entirely mention this but Kiano's parents had died from a bear attack and he'd managed to escape. I think I've heard bears aren't usually aggressive but this one in particular was. So that's all. Oh and to ease your minds, they had a boy :-) Hurrah for Kiano! LOL.

Well, as before, thanks to all those that followed and reviewed and encouraged. If you need more clarification on certain parts of 'Jungle Girl', feel free as an eagle to contact me. Also, I've heard requests to continue writing and I most definitely WILL. But in the mean time, check out my other fic: 'A Vendetta On A Vagrant'.

Mwah!
