It's a few days late but better late than never. Right?

.:All Hallows Eve:.

It’s a night that’s been passed through history,

Though its true history still remains a mystery.

This is the night where spirits cannot rest,

And magic and mayhem is at its best.

xXx

A day for creatures like ghosts and goblins, too

Of witches ugly and their brews.

Demons arise and the dead walk again,

Causing undeniable fear and bane.

xXx

Shades of black, orange, purple, green and red fill the day,

As the black cats from superstition stray.

It’s also the night when the reaper comes out to play,

Searching and searching for those who should pay.

xXx

The changing leaves of autumn resemble the fires of hell,

Fitting, since it’s where most evils dwell.

From dusk ‘til dawn this chaos ensues,

While the lucky ones are able to snooze.

xXx

The innocents in search of sweets must watch their backs,

Else they’ll be thought of like snacks.

Tricks and treats are what children are given,

Though when the night ends, the undead are striven.
