Sinking into the familiar depth of depression

Thinking about the soft curve of your neck.

The line blurred between love and obsession.

Wondering mutely if you'll ever come back.

Thinking about the number of sins I must have committed.

To cause you to leave me here all alone.

Even I never could have admitted.

All my wrongs against you, for which I have to atone.

I'm not sorry I told you I love you.

But I'm sorry you cast me aside.

Like an unneeded doll,

You couldn't have known,

I was empty and broken inside.
