This is my first NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month, for those of you who don't know what that means) story, which I am loosely basing around this poem/song I wrote a few months ago, but for some reason, never put up on here. I hope you enjoy.

Odd Chances
Part One: The Things You Can't See

If by some odd chance, I don’t wake up
When the sun rises tomorrow morning
And I’m not saying that it’ll happen, but if it does

Sorry for the lack of warning
But there’s a few things I hope that you know

Everything’s so beautiful when put
To slow music
And life’s an uncertainty;
Make the most of it (Make the most… of… it)

And if by some odd chance, I don’t wake up
By the end of tomorrow sunrise
I hope you’ll still remember me
When you close your eyes
And will you remember in your heart
All the times we’ve shared
Do you realize, that you, my friends
Are the answers to my prayer?
