THE NIGHT AT THE HARBOUR

She was

calm, and she wasn't afraid to talk.

I'd never thought I'd ever find

a girl like her

I only thought I'd find

her in my dreams.

But I was wrong,

she was really here, with me

at the harbour

It wasn't just "the usual".

The harbour

together

in the night, watching the ferry:

"In my class, there are no one I can like".

Can she hear me calling?

Then she looked at me

"I know how that feels."

Someone to feel close to,

not just the "the usual".
