Fall feels like the beginning of the end

Something about the change in weather

Feels like a change in the world.

As the air gets colder

Hearts freeze, doors close

And friends huddle together in a vain attempt to stay warm.

People tell me I see too much symbolism

No matter the season, the world's still the same

But something about cold temperatures

Makes me think the world is ending.
