These Voices Inside my head

I’m not insane,

Honestly I’m not,

It’s just those people telling me what to do.

They’re quite mean actually,

They tell me to do things,

Things that might make someone upset.

Some people call me crazy

The people tell me they’re jealous

Jealous, because they talk to me instead.

I have to do what they say,

I don’t want them to leave me,

I’ll be upset if they leave.

I’m tired of gluing teachers to chairs,

Putting paint in girl’s hair,

Pranking the headmaster.

I told them,

The adults,

About my friends.

I wish I hadn’t,

I wouldn’t have to wear this white coat,

Or stare at these soft white walls.
