I spent the day with you
It was okay, I guess
But now I’m home alone

Is that ache because I miss you
Or because I know something’s wrong?

I gave in to selfish desires
Knowing all too well the consequences
Yet shunning them for my own wrongful gain

I just want a second chance

A chance to make things right
I believe that the only way to find true love is to lose it;
