A/N: I got a random urge to write something. So I was staring at a blank document on Word, and then I asked Ben (my awesome fanfiction guy) for a random topic to write on. He said "The way the light shines when the sun has just disappeared", and this ended up being the result. I think it's pretty good. Hope you like!

The Lake

The lake glitters with a magnificent glory

As the last twinkling lights cover the surface,

And the orange- pink skies illuminate the scene.

Take in the view while you can, young one,

Before the glowing sphere that lights the sky

Disappears over the horizon

And takes with it, its life- inspiring light,

Leaving the lake the dark blue of mystery

And the blackest black of nights.
